Ayr & District Flower Show

The Ayr Flower Show has been a much-loved fixture in the Ayrshire calendar for many years and we would like to acknowledge this and pay gratitude to all those who have organised and supported the previous show since its’ establishment, sometimes in many challenging circumstances.

At the show there is a range of exhibits on show ranging from Begonias to Pansies, Vegetables to Bonsai and Floral Art to Photography. Keep an eye out for the winners throughout the classes who will receive a keepsake prize which is awarded to winners of classes or best in that section. Check show schedule for details.

New to the Ayr & District flower show, we have teamed up with Ayr Racecourse, who are providing a Scottish Food Market in the princess suite of the Racecourse. This will feature a variety of Local & Scottish Produce such as Home Baking, Butchers, Deli’s, Confectionery, Fruit & Veg for  you to purchase and take home to enjoy. Also new for this years show is the addition of a junior section in the show schedule. After looking over suggestions from last year’s show, there were many voices asking if we could include this in the next show. We hope these new classes can help promote the next generation of growers that could one day be entering into the floral/veg/fruit classes in the future…

The Ayr & District flower show is more than just flowers on display. There is a variety of entertainment on offer over the two days of the show ranging from Scottish dance to 50’s/60’s/blues music, and much more. There is also floral art demonstrations taking place on both days, as well as an array of different trader stalls for you to pick up a plant or planter for your garden.
